New Drink-IT® Customer: General Stores

First Drink-IT® SaaS customer in Belgium

General Stores, a Belgian wine and shipchandler, has decided to implement Drink-IT®. They have chosen for the Drink-IT® SaaS solution. By using SaaS - Software as a service – General Stores doesn’t install Drink-IT® on premises but they ‘rent’ the software online instead, hosted on a remote server and accessed securely through the Internet.

General Stores was founded in 1947 as a shipchandler. In the 1980s the business was significantly expanded through the import of quality wines, mainly French wines, to deliver to private and trade customers. Gradually the range was extended with the knowledge and wines from Spain, Portugal, Austria, Italy, Australia, Chile, Argentina and North America.
