Looking Forward

2012 has come to an end so we are looking forward to a new exciting Drink-IT year in which Drink-IT CRM and the release on Microsoft NAV 2013 will play a key role.

Microsoft NAV 2013

Last October, Microsoft released NAV 2013. Drink-IT always follows the latest Microsoft technology so the solution from NAV 2009 R2 will be available on NAV 2013 in Q1. NAV 2013 is a big functional release with a lot of new functionalities where Drink-IT can benefit from: cash flow management, cost accounting, assembly order management, enhanced user experience and further integration with other Microsoft applications, … The user will also be able to access Drink-IT using only Internet Explorer or SharePoint which will extend the use of ERP within the customer organization.

Furthermore a second release has been planned for scanning and for MES, new functionalities will be added to simplify EDI projects and the communication for new EMCS countries will be provided.

In 2013, Drink-IT will also invest heavily in the CRM solution. Last two years, the focus has been on On-Trade (pubs, hotels, restaurants, outlets, ..) The next step is to extend the Off-Trade channel further. The sales reps, field managers and merchandisers visiting the retailers must be able to do store checks, product introductions and discuss sales agreements from the browser and the tablet. Besides that, the mobile application for On-Trade will be extended and more mobile functionalities for Off-Trade will be added.

With NAV 2013 and Drink-IT CRM, Drink-IT moves from a business solution to a more and more integrated platform based on Dynamics NAV, Dynamics CRM, Office, SharePoint and SQL.
